Women's Ministry
The Women's Ministry is designed for a time of fellowship to encourage & support all women spiritually, physically & emotionally. We are a family Dedicated to studying the word of God & being renewed by His Spirit.

Our desire is to create a spiritual climate that cultivates a relationship with God & each other. We offer an atmosphere for women to feel safe, renewed, encouraged, strengthened and refreshed through:
Bible Study, Fellowship, Small Groups & Retreats.

Men's Ministry (Men of Valor)
The mission of the Men's Ministry is to provide men with the resources, support & training to develop a Godly character to become Godly husbands, fathers, mentors and sons.

It is our goal to equip men to influence their lives, households, communities, and the world for Jesus Christ through: Bible Study, Fellowships, Small Groups, Retreats and One-on-One Discipleship.

Youth Ministry
The mission of the Youth Ministry is to provide energy from the Word of God, excitement through the Word of God and entertainment about the Word of God so the youth can venture out & spread the Word of God.

The Youth Ministry is a teen-led, parent-engaged ministry. It is critical that parents avail themselves to ensure a safe and rewarding environment.

Prayer Ministry
Intercessory Prayer Ministry's calling is to exalt God through prayer & Intercession, to equip & empower believers to intercede on behalf of others & to emphasize the importance of prayer as a lifestyle.

Strategically support and undergird the Pastor & ministries of HLWBC as we commit to serve & do Kingdom work as one body, Strengthen the church through prayer in preparation to carry out the vision of HLWBC & seek out prayer partners that will commit to covering every area of the ministry, community & the world.

Discipleship Ministry & Decision Counseling
Our Mission is to introduce the non-believer to repentance as a lifestyle; help maturing Christians grow in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and re-connect with the believer who is rededicating their life to Christ.

Decision Counseling Ministers to individuals who answer to altar call and assists in explaining their decision, answering questions, praying with individuals and providing instructions on the next steps in their walk with Christ.

Son-Shine Ministry
The Son-Shine Ministry's Mission is to extend Christ's Love through all of life's seasons by:
- Recognizing celebratory occasions and achievements
- Calling & visiting those homebound, sick & shut-in
- Encouraging those in time of mourning & bereavement
-Extending prayer, love & spiritual support
- Meeting tangible needs whenever possible
- Provide Cancer Support through Our Jouney of Hope

Worship Arts Ministry
The Worship Ministry prepares the heart of worshippers through joyful songs.
​
Choir: Sings hymns & contemporary praise and worship songs during Sunday morning service & special events.
Musicians: Provides musical solos or accompaniment to the choir and/or praise team.
​
Arts: Uses creative gifts to minister through the arts (dance, mime, spoken word/poetry and/or drama. We offer support the ministry as writers, directors, sound & lighting technicians, make-up artists, stagehands etc.
